Don't Know what to Write?
Here are some helpful hints if you're not sure what to write!
1. Bounce ideas off of a friend, teacher, or a parent. Sometimes talking about the ideas for your play is the best way to really figure them out!
2. Write about what interests you! Do you play a sport? Enjoy a certain video game? Like to dance? You can use any of these activities in your play!
3. Think outside the box! Your play doesn't necessarily have to about people or even take place here on Earth. Try out a couple of wacky ideas and see how they go!
Here are a few websites that you may also find helpful!
http://www.daily-writing-prompt.com/story-starters.html has story generators, writing prompts, and even some fun pictures to write about.
http://www.expositorywritingprompts.com/creative-writing-prompts-middle-school/ has a few fun writing prompts. Though they may not be directly related to our theme of bullying, they may help you come up with some creative ideas.
